Road Administration’s Rakvere, Jõhvi and Narva bureaus are closed

26. August 2020 - 12:47

The Estonian Road Administration has closed its service bureaus in Rakvere, Jõhvi and Narva because some of the staff members there tested positive for COVID-19. We will be getting in touch with all persons known to have been in long contact with the affected staff members. We are actively cooperating with the Health Board to limit the spread of the disease.

Due to closure of the aforementioned bureaus all driving theory and practice exams scheduled for Rakvere, Jõhvi and Narva over the next two weeks are now cancelled. If your exam is cancelled, you will be able to schedule a new exam appointment without paying the state fee and as soon as possible after normalisation of the situation. All driver candidates will be notified accordingly. If by that time your previously passed theory exam results expire, you will not have to re-take the exam, and instead the next exam appointment will be scheduled for you.

Documents requested for collection from the bureaus will now be posted to your home address and the corresponding number plates will be delivered to a suitable parcel terminal.

Other bureaus of the Road Administration operate as usual. Pre-registration checks will be performed as per the reservations. Whenever possible, we would ask you to go online for anything you need from us, having any paperwork mailed to your home address and number plates delivered to a parcel terminal.

If you are ill or suspect that you may be ill, please do not visit our bureaus. If you feel unwell, have recently been in one of the risk areas or have been in contact with infected people (or suspect that you may have been), please postpone your visit.

The Road Administration will keep everyone up to date on further developments and activities. We advise you to monitor news on our website.
