From Monday, 7 September, the Estonian Road Administration’s service bureaus in Rakvere, Jõhvi and Narva are working again and driving exams are resumed.
The bureaus in Narva and Rakvere are open on Monday from 9:00-17:00. The service bureau in Jõhvi is open on Monday from 9:00-12:00 due to maintenance of the local electric substation on that day.
To reduce the risk of infection, the doors of the Road Administration bureaus indicate the maximum number of customers inside. We prioritise serving those customers who scheduled their appointments in advance. If you do not have an appointment, please bear in mind that you may be waiting for some time and that you may have to do so outside. Pre-registration checks are only conducted on the basis of appointments. You can schedule your service bureau visit here.
Due to the closure of the bureaus 468 driving practice exams and 162 driving theory exams were cancelled. The Road Administration will:
1. Phone those customers whose theory exam was cancelled to schedule a new exam time.
2. Send an e-mail soon to those customers whose driving practice exam was cancelled, providing the new exam time. The provided exam time can be changed via the Road Administration e-service if your theory exam result is still valid.
3. Phone those customers whose theory exam results expired over the last two weeks to schedule a new exam time.
You can schedule a new time for the Category A or heavy vehicle driving exam via a driving school.
If you feel unwell, have recently been in one of the risk areas or have been in contact with infected people (or suspect that you may have been), please postpone your visit.
The Estonian Road Administration closed its service bureaus in Rakvere, Jõhvi and Narva on 25 August because some of the staff members there had tested positive for COVID-19.
